Contest Terms & Conditions – Heat Pump Giveaway

Eligibility
  • The contest is open to legal residents of Ottawa and the surrounding area.
  • Entrants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
  • Entrants must be the legal owner of the home where the heat pump would be installed.
  • Employees of AirZone HVAC Services, its affiliates, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
  • The contest begins on March 18th and ends on May 31st.
  • Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
  • Participants may enter by providing name, installation/home address and email online at airzonehvac.ca/contests or by filling out a ballot.
  • Limit of one (1) entry per household.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
  • The prize consists of one (1) heat pump system, including standard installation.
  • The approximate retail value of the prize is $7,500 CAD.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has no cash value.
  • Any additional costs not explicitly stated (e.g., electrical upgrades, ductwork modifications, permits, or structural work) are the responsibility of the winner.
  • Installation is subject to a site assessment by AirZone HVAC Services.
  • If the home is deemed unsuitable for standard installation, the winner may:
    • Pay the additional costs required, or
    • Forfeit the prize.
  • Installation must be completed within 12 months of winner selection, subject to scheduling availability.
  • The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries.
  • The draw will take place on May 31st.
  • The selected entrant will be contacted via phone/email and must respond within 10 days to claim the prize.
  • If the selected entrant cannot be contacted or is deemed ineligible, another entrant may be selected.

  • As required by Canadian law, the selected winner must correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question to be declared the winner.
  • By entering, participants agree that AirZone HVAC Services may use the winner’s name, city, and/or photos of the installation for promotional purposes, without additional compensation.
  • AirZone HVAC Services is not responsible for:
    • Late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries
    • Technical failures or issues with entry submission
  • By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless AirZone HVAC Services from any liability related to the contest or prize use.
  • AirZone HVAC Services reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest at any time without prior notice.
  • AirZone HVAC Services reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these terms or tampers with the entry process.
  • All decisions by AirZone HVAC Services are final and binding.
  • Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
  • Entrants may receive marketing communications only if they have opted in.
